Mission:

For people to ,know their God, be strong and do exploits.

Knowing God is loving God and having a close relationship with Him.

Being strong is knowing who we are in Christ.

Doing exploits is loving people, fulfilling Gods destiny for our lives and reaching others for Him.

Keys : Loving God and loving people.

Vision:

 A church consisting of our nation and the nations winning people from our nation and the nations for Jesus, and bringing them to maturity in their knowledge and relationship with God.

Isaiah 43:18-21 18Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. 19Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. 20The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. 21This people have I formed for myself; they shall show forth my praise.

Vision from the Lord

Over a period of a few weeks from 17th June 2001 the Lord gave me specific direction concerning establishing a church/ministry for the nations. During this time, which included nights of prayer into the early morning the Lord gave clear direction to us. It was like having an appointment with God where he called us into His throne room and said this is what I have for you and this is what I want you to do.

He then showed me a river flowing through the heart of the Gold Coast, Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise.  This river then turned into a river of people. The people consisted of different nations. It was a large group of people a sea of people.  These people then joined together as one large group.  They then lifted their hands up and began to Praise God.  There was an oneness about the people, they were unified, all were joyful and were looking upwards as they praised their God.

On another occasion I saw another river. This time we were in a boat.  Once again the streets were flooded and our boat was in the river that had flooded into the streets.  In the river there were people that were about to drown; however just before they were to drown we were rescuing them. We were pulling them out of the river into the boat.
We were rescuing lives from destruction.

During August 2001 I was listening to Billye Brim minister. She spoke about the vision of Brother Hagin’s and how he saw a river flowing through a garden and how this river turned into a river of people that began to praise God.  This the name River of Praise Church.  Ps Dale Smith
